I left home and found out the wider world runs on a different clock. I worked in Washington, DC. I spent years in public school finance and administration.  I built a career in crop insurance and agriculture consulting. I sat in boardrooms in blazers and in barns in boots, often in the same week. And every single time I came home, I came home more certain, that the values I was raised with were the ones worth keeping and instilling in my own children.

Here's what nobody tells you about that season of life: you can build an impressive resume and still feel like you're auditioning for a life that was never yours to begin with. I got tired of measuring myself against a version of "having it together" that had nothing to do with what mattered to me… my faith, my family, and this ground under my feet.

So, I walked away from the comfort of a job with health insurance. Not to slow down but to build something that was for us. Women of the Ranch is what happened when I stopped trying to be what everyone else says I should be and start showing up as exactly who I wanted to be.

I'm not here to hand you a formula or tell you my way is the only way. I'm here to remind you that you already know more than the noise gives you credit for. You know your family. You know your needs, your body, your calling. My job is to help you tune out the static long enough to hear it.
